Pharaohs Dream

Deacons and Beehives

Jacob and Sons

The first song of the show...

One More Angel Run Through

I think that we need to thank Brandi for the amazing work she has done in making this song a great number... but then again she couldn't have done it without all of the dancers, so thank you as well!

Song of the King

This is the "Song of the King" dance for most of the deacons and beehives. Its a little bit rough in some parts as you will be able to see but mainly this is the dance. The boys and girls should be lined up in pairs leading into a v-shape. Its supposed to be kind of robotic and Egyptian looking. If we get it tight and all together it will look pretty shnazzy! thanks for your hard work! keep practicing it and so will I! Oh and remember to practice your singing with the dancing on the bop bop parts!

One More Angel in Heaven

Mia Maids and Brothers

This may seem complicated, but I promise it will come together nicely. While Gavin is singing, all of the brothers will be gathered around Jacob's chair paying close attention to the song, looking upset, etc. The girls will be gathered around the brothers during the verse, but during the chorus, they will get up and dance:

For clarification (since we didn't get around to this on Wednesday)
Girls front row: Anna, Maggie, Kara, and McKenzie
Girls back row: Regan, Emma, Sarah, Hannah, and Lauren

Start right after (he would not want you to...)
Front row facing back and back row facing forward:
1-8 Step right together right hitch (slap hands) back left together left together
1-8 Repeat - right together right hitch (slap hands) back together back together
1-8 Back row: Full pivot turn on right foot, left heel on 6, right heel on 8
Front row: Half pivot turn on right foot, left heel on 4, right heel on 6, left heel on 8
1-8 (It's tough, but we're gonna get by) On tough: muscle poses, hold for 4 counts then slowly come to standing position
1-8 Back row: Grapevine right
Front row: Grapevine left
1-8 Back row: Grapevine left
Front row: Grapevine right
Left partners: small step forward right foot (1,2) squat (3,4) step right (5,6) tippy toes (7,8)
step back right foot (1,2) squat (3,4) step left (5,6) tippy toes (7,8)
Right partners: small step back right foot (1,2) tippy toes (3,4) step left (5,6) squat (7,8)
step forward right foot (1,2) tippy toes (3,4) step right (5,6) tippy toes (7,8)
(Like peace and love never die...)
Girls will walk back to their original positions near the brothers. Then , during the second chorus (which is half instrumental), the girls will repeat this whole thing again.

When everyone starts singing, all the mia maids and brothers will get up and form a V with the point facing out towards the audience. After that, the hoedown begins.

**Hoedown Section**
Both Mia Maids and Brothers

1-8 Everyone run excited to their places
1-4 Pony step
5,6 Step left and kick
7,8 Face the back
1-4 Wizard step (skip) right foot then left foot
5,6 Pivot turn to face front
7,8 Jump, landing on 8
1-8 Grapevine into the center
1-8 Grapevine step to new positions
Polka Section! Our four polka couples will dance in the center for three 8-counts and the remaining couples will form a half circle, cheering them on
1-8 Lasso and pony to different positions jump on 8 (Yee-haw)
1-8 Continue to lasso and pony to positions...
Girls facing back and boys facing forward:
1-8 Step right together right hitch (slap hands) back left together left together
1-8 Repeat - right together right hitch (slap hands) back together back together
1-8 Boys: Full pivot turn on right foot, left heel on 6, right heel on 8
Girls: Half pivot turn on right foot, left heel on 4, right heel on 6, left heel on 8
1-8 Boys: Grapevine right
Girls: Grapevine left
1-8 Boys: Grapevine left
Girls: Grapevine right
Left partners: small step forward right foot (1,2) squat (3,4) step right (5,6) tippy toes (7,8)
step back right foot (1,2) squat (3,4) step left (5,6) tippy toes (7,8)
Right partners: small step back right foot (1,2) tippy toes (3,4) step left (5,6) squat (7,8)
step forward right foot (1,2) tippy toes (3,4) step right (5,6) tippy toes (7,8)
At this point, everyone will create a semi-circle and individual couples will go in doing dances, lifts, cartwheels, etc. When the chorus starts to play again at the end, our polka dances will take center stage again... everyone will be interrupted by Jacob walking back in.
For the ending two eight counts, we will have an ending pose for everyone to scramble excitedly to. We will be cutting out part of the song because it's SUPER long...

You guys are doing a GREAT job! Keep up the good work, everything is coming together nicely!

Girls on Chorus Video - I will have the hoedown video up by the end of this weekend!

Go Go Joseph

Go Go Joseph is the song right after Close Every Door... This is a Laurel Dance

I taped this dance before I thought of the changes, so remember the changes we did with the clapping and the very end with the "ahead of your time" but anyway hope it helps and remember to practice and ask me if you need help with anything! Thanks
